Questions, answered
The things people most often ask before their first visit. Can’t see yours? Call us. We’re happy to help.
NHS
Are you taking new NHS patients?
We are accepting new NHS patients when availability allows. Call us and we will tell you honestly what we can offer and how long the wait is.
How much does NHS treatment cost?
NHS charges are set nationally in bands, and our fees page shows the current NHS England charges. Some people, such as under-18s and pregnant women, don’t pay. Check whether you qualify on nhs.uk.
Payment
How much does a private check-up cost?
Our private check-up and hygiene appointment is from the price on our fees page. You always get a written cost before any treatment.
Do you have a membership plan?
Yes. Our care plan spreads the cost of private check-ups and hygiene visits into a monthly payment. Ask us for details.
Visiting
Are you open on Saturdays?
Yes. We’re open Saturday mornings, and late on Thursdays until 8pm. Current hours are at the bottom of every page.
I’m nervous about the dentist, can you help?
Absolutely. We see a lot of anxious patients and take it at your pace, explaining everything as we go. Let us know how you’re feeling when you book.
Emergency
Do you see emergency patients the same day?
We hold appointments aside each day for emergencies and do our best to see you the same day. Out of hours, call NHS 111 for urgent dental advice.

Still have a question?
Whether it’s a check-up that’s overdue or a tooth that’s bothering you today, we’re a phone call away in Whitstable.
